There is an appealing background to the Cambodia gambling dens that reside just across the dividing line from next door Thailand, in which gambling hall gambling is prohibited. Eight casinos are based in a relatively small area in the municipality of Poipet in Cambodia. In addition, there is the Casino Tropicana, with 135 slot machines and 66 of the normal table games, as well as a single table of Casino Stud Poker. One more of the eight gambling halls in Poipet, also a part of a hotel, is the Princess Casino with 166 slot machines and ninety seven games. The Star Vegas Casino is is located in a comprehensive vacation and hotel building that features many comforts aside from the gambling hall, which houses 10,000 sq.ft. of one hundred and thirty slots and eighty eight gaming tables.
